OAB defende manutenção da estrutura da Justiça do Trabalho na Paraíba

O presidente da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, Seccional Paraíba (OAB-PB), Harrison Targino, fez sustentação oral, nesta quinta-feira (12), durante sessão do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 13ª Região (TRT13), na qual defendeu a manutenção da estrutura das Varas da Justiça do Trabalho. Também participaram da sessão do TRT13 o ex-presidente da OAB-PB, José Mário Porto; e o secretário-geral da OAB-PB, Diego Cabral.
Normativa do Tribunal Superior do Trabalho (TST) prevê a reestruturação das varas do trabalho, incluindo a possibilidade de fechamento de algumas com baixa distribuição processual.
O presidente Harrison Targino destaca que a OAB-PB reafirma sua posição histórica, absolutamente contrária ao fechamento de qualquer unidade judiciária, sobretudo na Justiça cidadã, que é a Justiça de trabalho”.
“Fizemos uma sustentação oral em defesa da manutenção dos órgãos da Justiça do Trabalho e da competência hoje existente. O TST tem uma normativa que implica em um reordenamento e eventual até fechamento de Varas, mas estamos estabelecendo um diálogo com o Tribunal, que se mostrou sensível, para nós buscarmos soluções, evitando, sobretudo, a diminuição de espaços de jurisdição na Paraíba, a garantia das varas e a busca de soluções”, disse o presidente.
Harrison Targino acrescentou que a OAB-PB está “lutando pela advocacia da Paraíba, pelas unidades judiciárias e lutando pelas Subseções”. “Nós conseguimos o adiamento da decisão do Tribunal e está marcado uma reunião com a presença, inclusive, dos presidentes das Subseções para nós juntos enfrentarmos o tema. Vemos a oportunidade de discutir caminhos que possam diminuir danos para o Judiciário, para a advocacia e a sociedade”, afirmou.
O presidente também agradeceu a presidente do TRT13, desembargadora Herminegilda Leite Machado, pela sensibilidade de escutar os pleitos da advocacia. “O Tribunal do Trabalho da Paraíba tem tido sempre uma postura de diálogo, que qualifica a sua atuação e sempre tem ouvidos abertos há clamores na construção coletiva de soluções”, observou.
